Chesapeake Church of Christ is committed to ensuring that our website and church building are accessible to people with disabilities. We are constantly working to increase the usability of content and facilities for all people.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

Our church building is fully accessible to ensure everyone can worship with ease. Our current physical accessibility arrangements include:

Arrival & Entry: There are no steps or stairs anywhere from the parking lot to the interior of the building, providing a seamless path for those with mobility aids.

Restrooms: Our bathrooms are fully accessible and designed to accommodate people with disabilities.

Service Accommodations: For those with hearing impairments, our entire service is captioned in real-time on a large screen at the front of the sanctuary.

Digital Content: We strive to ensure our web presence and digital materials are as inclusive as our physical space.
